Technical support engineer - Northampton - 23k
Within this role you will be tasked with providing the required IT support across customer sites, which will include the hardware maintenance, software support and helpdesk cover. You will also be responsible for returning all warranty parts to the manufacturer and be willing to undertake any additional IT related duties as required.
Our ideal candidate will be qualified to Microsoft Certified Service Engineer (MCP or MCSE) level, you will have experience in a similar role and be motivated to continually learn new skills and develop in line with business needs. You will have experience of the IBM range of server products and a working knowledge of Active Directory, plus experience of Cisco and Citrix would be a distinct advantage.
You will be well organised, methodical and able to communicate with ease at all levels. You will possess a driving force that will enable you to progress your workload to the necessary deadlines, whilst being flexible and approachable. A full driving licence is essential.
